One Hundred Steps

In Cinisi, a Sicilian village squeezed between the rock and the sea, near the airport, thus useful for drug trafficking, one hundred steps separate Peppino Impastato’s house from that of Tano Badalamenti, the local boss. Peppino, a curious child who did not like the silence opposed to his questions, his effort to understand, in 1968 rebelled like so many young people against his father.
