The Sensuous doll

A sickly-looking Farley Granger plays an alcoholic artist struggling to make a living from his paintings. He eventually buys a faceless mannequin of a woman who, after deciding to paint it, transforms into a beautiful, seemingly living woman. The woman is mute at first, but eventually speaks just enough for Farley’s painter to become violent with her as she embarks on a promiscuous lifestyle.
