Girl with a Pearl Earring

It tells the story of the girl Griet, the famous girl with the pearl earring painted by Vermeer, as imagined by Tracy Chevalier in her novel on which it is based. Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, falling in love with a young maid, asks her to pose as a model for one of his paintings.
