Felicita Colombo

Delicious transposition of Giuseppe Adami’s play and excellent performance by Dina Galli as Mrs. Colombo, an enterprising Milanese delicatessen owner. When her daughter falls in love in return with the son of an earl with little money and much snobbery, Felicita Colombo is asked to leave the delicatessen. Instead, Felicita goes back behind the counter to save the family from debt, and the old count father ends up associating with her.
